Here at Spry Church, we have multiple opportunities to make an impact on our surrounding community. These impacts are all made possible by generous giving, both monetarily and of our gracious volunteers with their time.
Stuff the House Food Drive - Lent 2024
Did you know that 1 in 9 people in York County struggle with food insecurity? That is almost 60,000 people that are unable to access the food that they need to live active, healthy lives. The Spry Church food pantry has been serving families right here in our community for over 2 decades, and has seen an almost 150% increase in number of clients served over the last few years. Please help us support our Food Pantry by participating in the "Stuff the House" donation drive. You can donate at each campus on Sunday morning, or place items in the donation box outside of the School St. office entrance anytime. A weekly shopping list can be picked up at either campus, or email the church office by clicking here. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, that can be done by clicking here and selecting "food pantry" in the drop down box. Your donation makes a difference! Thank you!
Spry Church Food Pantry has been serving the community for over 20 years!
Food is available to be picked up each Thursday morning from 10:30-11:30am as well as on the second Monday of the month from 6-7pm. To reserve a box of food, please call 717-741-1429 or email office@sprychurch.com. You must provide your name, phone number, and the number of people in your family.
Donations of any non-perishable food items are gladly accepted, and can be dropped off at the church in the bin by the lot 2 entrance 24/7, or for larger donations, call 717-741-1429 to schedule a time to drop off. Monetary donations are also accepted and greatly appreciated and can be made by clicking here or sending a check to the church office, 50 School St. York, PA 17402.
Community Aid Partnership Spry Church is excited to partner with Community Aid to serve our community! Drop your donations of shoes, clothing, and household items off at Community Aid, 2001 Springwood Rd. and give them our partner number, 50062. Spry Church will receive credit for all donations in the form of cash and gift cards that can be used to support our missions work and help our community!
